Last Saturday, I went to London with my family. First, we visited Madame Tussaud’s. That was really cool. All my favourite actors and singers were there. I took a selfie with Usain Bolt! Then, we went to the London Aquarium. We walked under the water and we watched the sharks. My brother was scared, but I wasn’t. After that, we went to a Mexican restaurant. We ate tacos and drank milkshakes. We arrived home at midnight. We were tired, but happy! ​

Climbing a mountain.

When I was at primary school, I liked to take with my parents. Those were great days for all of us. We could talk for hours about everything, laughed and had a lot of fun.

One day, when I was about 7, we took a trip to one of the biggest mountains in our region.

I could not sleep the night before because I was so excited about trip. The weather was hot and sunny. The first hour of climbing was not hard. Then it became more difficult and I left tired. I wanted to take a rest for a least a minute, but I could not stop because my father said:” You need to put up with some difficulties. If you can do this now, you’ll e a better climber than me.” So, we were climbing and my father was encouraging me. While I was climbing up along a tough and narrow path, I felt absolutely exhausted. But soon we took a short break before climbing to the top of the mountain.

At that time the fresh and sweet wind made me feel to cool. I said” Father! Harry up! I want to see the top!” Two hours later, I was able to get top of the mountain. I felt so proud of myself. On the top I could see the huge sun going down in the west. It looked like a big fireball. I can’t remember what my father told me on the top but now I realize that he taught me the way to get over my problems and helped me develop self-confidence.

Привет мама папа. Как у вас дела? Что сейчас делаете? Вы за меня не волнуйтесь, я сейчас на ферме у бабушки и дедушки. У них всё хорошо. Их ферма очень большая. На ферме много чего интересного.
Сегодня утром я помогала бабушке готовить яблочный пирог. В огороде мы сорвали несколько яблок для пирога. Бабушкин яблочный пирог самый вкусный! Потом помогала дедушке кормить животных на ферме. На ферме есть коровы, овцы, лошади. Мне очень понравились лошади, я даже на одной каталась.
В полдник мы все вместе пошли на пикник. Пока бабушка накрывала еду, мы с дедушкой ловили рыбу на речке. Было очень весело!
Жаль что день так быстро прошёл. Я по Вам сильно скучаю. Приезжайте скорее!

2.1 Read the story and answer the questions.
The Camping Trip
Lily and her brother Ryan went camping with their mom and dad. Ryan and Dad set
up the tent while Lily and Mom collected sticks to start a bonfire.
Once the tent was set up, they started a fire in the bonfire pit. Lily and Ryan looked
for long pointy sticks to use for cooking hot dogs over the fire while the fire was heating
up. They found four perfect sticks, one for each of them.
Lily and Ryan, and their mom and dad, each placed two hot dogs on their sticks.
They held the hot dogs over the fire and turned the sticks slowly so every side of each hot
dog was cooked. Then they put the hot dogs into buns and added ketchup and mustard.
The hot dogs were delicious.
After they all enjoyed their hot dogs, Lily got out the marshmallows for dessert.
They all roasted marshmallows over the fire until the marshmallows turned a nice shade of
brown. Then they popped the yummy treats into their mouths.
Sitting around the bonfire and eating marshmallows is Lily and Ryan’s favorite part
of camping.
