Speaking Task. Work in pairs. Choose one of the cards and make a dialogue with a partner. Give own opinion on topic, ask questions, explain your position and answer your partners’ questions. You have 1 minute to prepare and 2 minutes to talk Card 1.Discuss with your partner the topic ‘Our class’. The following questions will help you to organize your talk: 1) What grade are you in? 2) Do you have to wear a uniform? 3) What is your favourite subject at school? 4) What do you usually do after school? 5) Do you enjoy studying? Card 2. Discuss with your partner the topic ‘Our class’. The following questions will help you to organize your talk: 1) How many students are there in your class? 2) Describe two of your classmates who attend your class 3) What subjects are you good at? 4) What subjects are you bad at? 5) Do you study a foreign language at school? Card 3. Discuss with your partner the topic ‘Helping and Heroes’. The following questions will help you to organize your talk: 1) Do you believe in superheroes? 2) Who is your favourite male superhero? Why? 3) Who is your favourite female superhero?     Card 1: Discuss with your partner the topic ‘Our class.’

    A: Hi! Let’s discuss our class. What grade are you in?
    B: I’m in the 10th grade. How about you?

    A: I’m in the 10th grade too. Do you have to wear a uniform?
    B: Yes, we do. It’s a blue and white uniform. What about you?

    A: We have a uniform, but I don’t really like it. What is your favorite subject at school?
    B: I really enjoy math. It’s my favorite subject. How about you?

    A: I like English the most. What do you usually do after school?
    B: I usually study or play video games with friends. How about you?

    A: I play football after school. Do you enjoy studying?
    B: Well, some subjects I like, and some I don’t. What about you?

    A: I enjoy studying, but I don’t like history much.

    Card 2: Discuss with your partner the topic ‘Our class.’

    A: Hi! Let’s talk about our class. How many students are there in your class?
    B: We have about 25 students in our class. How about yours?

    A: We have 30 students in our class. Can you describe two of your classmates?
    B: Sure, there’s Sarah, who’s really good at art, and Mark, who’s excellent in sports. What about your classmates?

    A: We have James, who’s great at science, and Lisa, who’s good at literature. What subjects are you good at?
    B: I’m good at math and physics. What about you?

    A: I excel in English and history. But, what subjects are you not so good at?
    B: I struggle with chemistry and geography. Do you study a foreign language at school?
    A: Yes, we learn Spanish. How about your school?

    B: We learn French at our school.

    Card 3: Discuss with your partner the topic ‘Helping and Heroes.’

    A: Hey, let’s discuss superheroes and helping people. Do you believe in superheroes?
    B: I think superheroes are fun in movies, but they’re not real. What do you think?

    A: I agree. Who is your favorite male superhero, and why?
    B: I like Iron Man because he’s really smart and has cool tech. How about you?

    A: I prefer Spider-Man because he’s relatable and has a good heart. Who is your favorite female superhero?
    B: Wonder Woman because she’s strong and confident. Do you think people need superheroes in real life?

    A: I think real heroes are the people who help others in everyday life. Do you want to be a superhero?
    B: I’d like to help people like a superhero, but I know I can’t fly or have superpowers.

    These sample dialogues can give you an idea of how to discuss the topics with your partner during the speaking task. You can use these as a reference and build your own dialogues based on your opinions and experiences.
