Where can/would you like to go on vacation? How about a whale-watching trip in Alaska! You can fly / go to Alaska by car, plane, bus, or train. You can have / sleep in a hotel close to the ocean. Then you have to take a boat to go whale watching. Whale watching is fun. You can have / take photographs.

Here are some of my photographs. There were blue whales,

brown seals, and beautiful jellyfish. But stay away from

the jellyfish! They can are / be dangerous. My favorite

sea animals are the dolphins. They’re the most intelligent sea animals. They swim in groups called pods.

You should bring a warm coat and a hat when you go whale watching!

How are you? I’m looking forward to your visit to New York next month.

We’re going to do lots of crazy things! First, I’m going to take you to Central Park. It’s a really big park in the middle of the city. We’re going to rent some bicycles and ride round. There’s a zoo, a boating lake, a museum of art and a place we can go ice skating – we are going to be really busy!

After the park, we’re going to have some food. Do you like pizza? Some friends are going to come over and meet us for lunch in a great pizza place on Times Square – that’s a really popular place with theatres and cinemas.
In the afternoon, we can walk up Fifth Avenue. This is the street with all the best shops.

And then we are going to go up the Empire State Building. It’s a very tall building (380 metres) and the views from the top are amazing. I hope you like heights!

I’m going to send you a link to some great websites so you can see everything. It’s really cold in December here so bring some warm clothes.
