It’s 7:30 pm at Lisa’s house and she’s in her room doing her homework. However, homework is just one of the things she’s doing while her eyes are fixed on the computer screen. As well as studying for her Biology exam, Lisa is also listening to music, chatting with her best friend online, downloading songs and occasionally texting people on her mobile phone. «My parents keep telling me off for multi-tasking while studying, but they don’t understand that it helps me concentrate,» she says.

The family in the modern society

Importance of family as institute of education is caused by the fact that the child is in it during a considerable part of the life, and on duration of the impact on the personality any of institutes of education can’t be compared to family. In it the foundation of the identity of the child is laid, and to receipt in school he was already more than half created as the personality.

The family can act in quality of both a positive, and negative factor of education. The positive impact on the identity of the child consists that nobody, except the closest for him in family of people – the mother, the father, the grandmother, the grandfather, the brother, the sister, treats the child better, doesn’t love him doesn’t care so much for him.
