The family in the modern society

Importance of family as institute of education is caused by the fact that the child is in it during a considerable part of the life, and on duration of the impact on the personality any of institutes of education can’t be compared to family. In it the foundation of the identity of the child is laid, and to receipt in school he was already more than half created as the personality.

The family can act in quality of both a positive, and negative factor of education. The positive impact on the identity of the child consists that nobody, except the closest for him in family of people – the mother, the father, the grandmother, the grandfather, the brother, the sister, treats the child better, doesn’t love him doesn’t care so much for him. And at the same time no other social institute can do potentially so much harm in education of children how many the family can make.

My family is not very big, just a typical family: Dad, Mom, me, my brother and sister and our cat.

My Mummy is forty-one, she is a teacher of Spanish at the University.

Learning a foreign language is not an easy thing. It is a long and slow process that takes a lot of time and efforts. Nowadays it is especially important to know foreign languages. It is the language of William Shakespeare, Jonathan Swift, Walter Scott, Charles Dickens. The great German poet Goethe once said, “He, who knows no foreign language, does not know his own one”. That is why in order to understand oneself and environment one has to study foreign languages.
