In England there are many holidays,but probably,as you guessed it — the most famous of them — New year.The most fun and sweet tradition associated with the meeting and «Voskanian» this holiday house.As soon as the bell strikes 12, the British ran to open the back door of the house to the old year went, and to open the main front door – had to log in and to please for the entire year — the New year.In Scotland, it is customary to treat the first guest who came to your house on new year’s eve.Usually the first guest, having entered the house, silently goes to the fireplace-the heart of the house — and throwing back the coals, and only then are the wishes and greetings.Scots bake a cake for the new year – sand, round, richly decorated with sweets, almonds and candied fruitThe main holidays in England are new year,Christmas,Queen’s birthday, first Monday in may,last Monday in may,August holiday, Halloween.England gave me many good memories.All the time I was there, I felt a kind of pleasant and warm atmosphere. Especially on holidays. I visited many nature reserves in England,to my surprise,they were much brighter and more beautiful than in the photo that I looked on the Internet. I especially remember the Lake District.There I managed to go to the festival,go boating and go Hiking.That was great!Also I am in half in the picturesque Cotswolds area located in Gloucestershire in the South West of England. This charming place still preserves the atmosphere of old England, with its traditional architecture, green hills and narrow paths. Traveling around the Cotswolds, you can go to see the ancient castles and villas.
