4) Simon and Hugh spend this summer at their grandparents’ house in the countryside.

6) Annie reads her email every afternoon after school.
7) Paul takes out the rubbish every night.

11. 1) My family and I are spending our summer holidays this year.
2) A soft breeze is blowing, so it’s not terribly hot.
3) Right now, I am sitting by the hotel’s swimming pool.
4) I am sending emails to my friends.
5) My parents usually take a nap at this time of a day.
6) So they are sleeping in their room.
7) We really love everythis about this place!
Every day, my brother and I wake up late.
9) We are heading for the beach.
10) We are staying for hours.
11) Mum and Dad prefer to spend the day at sightseeing.
12) So we all are meeting up at lunchtime.
13) The only thing we don’t like very much is the local food.
14) As we think it’s a bit spicy for our taste!
15) The restaurant in our hotel serves all kinds of delicious international dishes.
